The register lists one line of business for us. We treat that line as the whole of the work: write software for a named operation, install it where the work already happens, and leave a note the floor can run without us in the room.
What we take on
- Replace a spreadsheet that has become the system of record.
- Give a dock office a day’s appointments and a door ticket the floor can read.
- Export a file the bookkeeper already knows how to open.
- Build a local queue, a receiving desk, or a yard list on the PC that already sits in the room.
- Install on that machine. Hosting stays where the client already keeps machines, unless the brief says otherwise.
What sits next to that line
Software Solutions, as we practise it, includes the work that makes the programme usable on the day of handover: mapping the existing file, printing the ticket the floor already understands, writing the CSV the bookkeeper already imports, and thirty days of corrections by email. We do not treat those as a second industry. They are how a Software Solutions engagement is finished.
Outside our scope
Lines of business that are not Software Solutions. A public app store listing. A telephone switchboard. A driver-facing internet portal or payment processing, unless the brief is still a Software Solutions job on a named machine. Write to aditya@adivinni.com.
