Humber Dock Co-op — door appointments instead of a whiteboard
A Toronto receiving co-op still assigns dock doors on a whiteboard. Drivers call the floor. The brief to us: a Software Solutions engagement that gives the dock office a day’s appointments, prints a door ticket, and writes a CSV the bookkeeper already imports.
- Register activity
- Software Solutions only. No other line is listed for us.
- Estate as found
- One shared PC at the dock office, a whiteboard for doors 1–6, a bookkeeper’s CSV drop, no public booking site.
- Work
- Map the day’s doors; build a local appointments file the floor can read; print a door ticket; write the existing CSV. Install on the machine that already sits in suite-adjacent operations, not in a new cloud tenancy unless asked.
- Handover
- Working appointments desk, one-page operating note, thirty days of corrections by email to aditya@adivinni.com.
- Not in this order
- No driver-facing internet portal, no payment processing, no 24-hour desk.
